எப்படி தயாரிப்பதுTNPSC Group 2A

பாடத்திட்டத்தை திறம்பட முடிக்க நிரூபிக்கப்பட்ட வழிமுறைகள்

1

Group 2A is exactly the same syllabus as Group 2 — only the selection process differs (no interview). This makes the written exam even more critical; you must score as high as possible.

2

Since there is no interview, the written exam score is final. Aim for 255+ out of 300 to ensure selection in most districts and categories.

3

The Tamil Grammar section (Paper II) is where most candidates lose marks. Spend at least 30 minutes daily on grammar rules, Thirukkural, and literary questions.

4

Use previous year TNPSC Group 2/2A question papers (available on the official TNPSC website) to understand the difficulty level and question type distribution.

5

Create a subject-wise study schedule: 2 hours History/Geography, 1 hour Polity, 1 hour Economics, 30 min Science, 30 min Tamil, 30 min Aptitude — daily.

6

VetriApp's analytics show you which subjects need improvement after each mock test. Focus your next study session on your weakest areas, not what you already know.

7

Current Affairs for the last 6–12 months before the exam date are critical. Maintain a notebook of important events, schemes, and appointments.

TNPSC Group 2A பாடத்திட்டம் — கேள்விகள் & பதில்கள்

What is the difference between TNPSC Group 2 and Group 2A?

Both exams use the same written exam syllabus and pattern. The difference is in the selection process: Group 2 includes an interview for certain posts, while Group 2A is written exam only (no interview). Group 2A posts are generally non-gazetted clerical and supervisory roles. Group 2A is considered slightly easier to clear because you only need to do well in the written exam.

Is Group 2A syllabus the same as Group 2?

Yes, the syllabus is identical — General Studies, General Tamil/English, and Aptitude with 200 questions for 300 marks in 3 hours. The only difference is that Group 2A does not have an interview, so your rank is determined entirely by the written exam score.

What is the cutoff for TNPSC Group 2A?

The cutoff varies each year based on vacancy count, number of applicants, and exam difficulty. Generally, General category candidates need 230–260+ out of 300 to be selected. SC/ST/OBC categories have lower cutoffs. Check the official TNPSC website for previous year cutoffs.

Which posts are recruited under TNPSC Group 2A?

Group 2A recruits for non-interview Class II posts such as Revenue Inspector (Typist), Inspector of Survey, Supervisor in Social Welfare, Junior Inspector in HR&CE, and similar government posts. These posts offer good job security and government benefits.

How many vacancies are usually available in TNPSC Group 2A?

TNPSC Group 2A typically has a few hundred to over a thousand vacancies per notification, making it one of the more accessible state exams. The exact count varies with each notification. Group 2A often has more vacancies than Group 2 interview posts.
